Most chat tools keep everything in one long column. RabbitHoleAI explores a different shape: an infinite canvas where conversations, notes, and drawings can sit next to each other. A chat can branch into a separate window when a question deserves its own thread, while the canvas keeps the bigger picture visible.
The app is built with Next.js and Convex. Canvas state can persist locally and sync when signed in, and model calls go through an app route so provider credentials stay server-side. It is an attempt to make research feel more like arranging ideas on a desk than scrolling through one transcript.
