Soko is a multi-vendor marketplace built with the MERN stack. It separates the needs of shoppers, vendors, and administrators, with role-based dashboards and APIs for the different parts of the marketplace.
The backend is organized around Express routes, controllers, and models. Authentication uses JWTs, and the project includes request validation and common security middleware. The local run guide seeds sample users and products, which makes it easier to explore the separate roles without setting up a production catalog.
