Spatial Math Notes is a browser-based take on Apple's Math Notes idea. You write expressions directly on a canvas, and a small TensorFlow.js model recognizes handwritten digits and symbols. Once it sees an equals sign, the app evaluates the expression and draws the result beside it.
The interesting work is in the steps between ink and arithmetic: grouping nearby strokes into characters, recognizing those characters, then parsing the expression. Recognition and calculation happen in the browser, so the project can work offline.
